Records related to the repayment of Robert Morris creditors and to the administration and liquidation of lands placed in trust to protect his equity. Correspondence, indentures, deeds, receipts, and other records documenting the sale and sub-division of lands and lands taxationon. Items of note include a copy of a deed for land conveyed to Mary Jemison by the Seneca Indian nation and a certified copy of a bill from the New York legislature guaranteeing Jemisons title to the land.
