Gubernatorial papers including bill files, press releases, correspondence, speeches, position appointments, First Lady Gayle Wilson’s papers, and Governor’s Office Planning and Research Files. The bill files, press releases, and speeches are open. The remaining files are restricted for 50 years or until Wilson’s death, whichever is longer (California Government Code 6250, the California Public Records Act.)
