A subject file and legislation file (1925-1948) pertain to various topics including radio and communications, merchant marine and maritime affairs, fisheries, conservation, tariffs, the St. Lawrence Seaway, immigration, neutrality, interstate commerce, the Passamaquoddy tidal project, national defense, taxes, and vaterans’ benefits.
