Minor Wallace Papers contain correspondence, literary manuscripts, speeches, lectures, reminiscences, historical and biographical sketches, eulogies, essays, genealogical notes, notebooks,memoranda, scrapbooks, clippings, poems, newspapers, printed material, other papers, and memorabilia of Wallace, relating to the Arkansas Democratic Party, to the Democratic national campaigns of 1896, 1908, 1916, 1924, and 1928, the prohibition movement, Wallace’s interest in Arkansiana and in Arkansas history and literature, to his political career, and to family and personal affairs. Includes material on his career as an orator and lecturer for Confederate veteran associations, the Democratic National Committee Speakers Bureau, the League of Nations Non-Partisan Association, Inc., the Anti-Saloon League, Chautauqua circuits, and other enterprises.
