The papers of Jerry Voorhis contain books and papers from his campaigns and his years in Congressincluding his voting record as well as research material for his books, files related to his political, economic, and social interests, material about the Voorhis School for Boys, and Voorhis family history. There is a large body of information on cooperatives and extensive personal and business correspondence, much of it with prominent figures. Also included are supporting books and periodicals, phonograph records used in radio broadcasts, scrapbooks, photographs, articles and speeches by Jerry Voorhis, newspaper clippings and other artifacts. A finding aid is available in the repository.

Oral History: 1978-1979, 62 pages.
The oral history interview with Horace Jeremiah Voorhis was recorded by Enid H. Douglass for the Former Members of Congress, Inc. as part of its project The Modern Congress in American History, November 30, 1978 [through] January 3, 1979. The project was funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and other benefactors.
