STALKER, Gale Hamilton, a Representative from New York;
born in Long Eddy, Sullivan County, N.Y., November 7, 1889;
attended the grade and high schools, Scranton (Pa.) Business College, and the night schools of New York City;
moved to Elmira, Chemung County, N.Y., and engaged in the lumber business and also in banking;
elected as a Republican to the Sixty-eighth and to the five succeeding Congresses (March 4, 1923-January 3, 1935);
was not a candidate for renomination in 1934;
was a resident of Palm Bay, Fla., until his death November 4, 1985;
interment in Hillside Cemetery, Ormond Beach, Fla.
