PATTERSON, Thomas J., a Representative from New York; born in Lisle, N.Y., April 10, 1805; attended the public schools; Rochester town supervisor, 1838; elected as a Whig to the Twenty-eighth Congress (March 4, 1843-March 3, 1845); engaged as a land agent in Rochester, Monroe County, N.Y., where he died on February 15, 1885; interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
