NORMAN, Ralph, a Representative from South Carolina; born in Rock Hill, York County, S.C., June 20, 1953; graduated from Rock Hill High School, Rock Hill, S.C., 1971; B.S., Presbyterian College, Clinton, S.C., 1975; real estate developer; member of the South Carolina state house of representatives, 2005-2006, 2009-2017; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Fifteenth Congress, by special election, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of United States Representative Mick Mulvaney (June 20, 2017-present).
