HUCK, Winnifred Sprague Mason, (daughter of William Ernest Mason),
a Representative from Illinois; born in Chicago, Cook County, Ill.,
September 14, 1882; attended public schools in Chicago, Ill. and Washington,
D.C.; elected as a Republican to the Sixty-seventh Congress by special election
to fill the vacancy caused by the death of her father, United States
Representative William E. Mason (November 7, 1922-March 3, 1923); unsuccessful
candidate for renomination to the Sixty-eighth Congress in 1922; unsuccessful
candidate for nomination for a special election to fill the vacancy caused by
the death of United States Representative James Mann, February 27, 1923; died
on August 24, 1936, in Chicago, Ill; interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Waukegan,
Ill.
